About Us

Fonda Vamvakas has been in the automotive repair business for 15 years. He started Sterling Automotive to help make a better life for his family, including wife Sally, daughter Jacqueline, 15 and son Nick, 13, and their two dogs Max and Madeline. Over the years he has grown the business and used it to help individuals and organizations across DuPage and Kane County.

Dedicated to customer service and technical expertise, Sterling is a member of the Automotive Technical Institute Professional Development Group, a select group of service providers in the top 5% of the industry, who pursue continuing education and concentrate on improving customer service, legal, technical and management issues.

Sterling and the Vamvakas Family are proud supporters of the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure, The DuPage County Veteran’s Welfare Association, Haiti Recovery Fund, Christ Church of Oak Brook and Naperville Baseball.

Service Manager Rich Liczwek ensures that your vehicle is promptly and properly diagnosed and all work and parts orders are scheduled to meet your needs as much as possible.
